Occupational Therapist Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist in an acute setting. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to progress their career and take on new challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a clinical caseload and undertake a lead role in assessing, treating, and discharge planning.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.
- Supervise junior staff and students, and contribute to the development of the occupational therapy team.
- Participate in the development of new services and initiatives to improve patient care.
- Diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current State registration with HCPC.
- Demonstrated broad knowledge and application of current best practice in Occupational Therapy.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex information to patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work autonomously and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
