Occupational Therapist Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist to progress to a Band 6 role within our Acute team. We are seeking a skilled professional with a passion for delivering high-quality care and a commitment to lifelong learning.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing a clinical caseload, assessing, treating, and discharging patients. They will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support.
The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have a strong commitment to client-centered practice and a willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.

Person Specification- Diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current State registration with HCPC
- Demonstrated broad knowledge and application of current best practice in Occupational Therapy
- Demonstrated ability to complete complex physical skills required, involving the manipulation of objects and people with narrow margins for error
- Demonstrated ability to exert moderate physical effort for several short periods during the working day
