Property Management Officer

Salary: £18 - £25 per hour
Overview:
Our client is seeking a dedicated Property Management Officer to oversee a designated portfolio of approximately 200 residential units. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that the housing association maintains high standards in tenancy administration and prioritizes customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Portfolio Management:** Take full responsibility for a specific collection of properties, collaborating with residents to facilitate effective tenancy and leasehold oversight.
2. **Property Letting:** Manage the process of letting vacant properties, ensuring optimal income generation and addressing any arrears issues.
3. **Service Charge Management:** Set and review service charges, ensuring transparency and fairness for all tenants.
4. **Conflict Resolution:** Address and resolve instances of anti-social behavior, managing casework efficiently.
5. **Safety Compliance:** Ensure that all properties meet safety regulations concerning gas and fire safety, and that maintenance requests are handled promptly.
6. **Estate Inspections:** Conduct regular inspections of estates, implementing agreed-upon actions to enhance living conditions.
7. **Performance Improvement:** Strive to enhance performance metrics, focusing on customer satisfaction, property letting efficiency, post-inspection feedback, and income collection.
Training Opportunities:
This role is open to candidates who may not have direct experience as a Property Management Officer but possess a background in housing customer service or repair roles.
