Position: Customer Service Clerk

Employment Type: Full-Time Days Administration Clerk (37.5 hours)

Work Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday (with an unpaid lunch break)

Position Summary:

Responsible for general administrative functions while reporting to the Administration Team Leader. This role involves effective communication with various departments to ensure seamless operations.

Flexibility in working hours, including weekends, may be required to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update files and records for easy access.
  • Answer phone inquiries or redirect calls to the appropriate colleagues.
  • Monitor office supply inventory and report shortages.
  • Provide holiday cover assistance in other departments as needed.
  • Regularly use email to communicate with customers and colleagues to resolve issues.
  • Re-book orders or loads that have missed their scheduled booking.
  • Adhere to procedures and Health & Safety standards, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
  • Communicate any issues, both verbally and in writing, to the Team Leader for further follow-up.
  • Ensure a proper handover is completed for the next person in your department.
  • Perform general ad-hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Proven experience in a similar administrative role.
