Business Development Manager

Blue Legal is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Executive to drive new business initiatives, strengthen relationships with key partners, and oversee critical operational and financial functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Help broaden the firm's client reach by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Build and Maintain Strong Partnerships: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key referrers, such as estate agents, HR managers, mortgage brokers, and other influential stakeholders.
- Client Onboarding and Service: Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient client onboarding process, focusing on delivering outstanding client service.
- Marketing Strategies and Lead Generation: Create and execute marketing strategies aimed at potential referrers and clients, while managing lead generation platforms and processes.
- Industry Representation: Represent the firm at industry events and networking functions to enhance visibility and strengthen market positioning.
- Financial Management: Take charge of financial management tasks, including billing, invoicing, cost recovery, and compiling financial reports to ensure seamless operations.
- Account Reconciliations and Reporting: Support with account reconciliations and collaborate with external accountants to generate timely and accurate management reports.
- Business Development Experience: Demonstrable experience in business development, client relationship, and leadership in an operational capacity.
- Industry Knowledge: Ideally have legal or professional services sector experience.
- Education: A degree in business, law, or a relevant field.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-lasting professional relationships.
- Technical Skills: Solid computer skills, particularly in case management systems and financial software.
Please note that due to the specific sectors we work in, only candidates with valid work experience in a Law Firm, Accountancy Firm, Management Consultancy, Property/Construction Firm, Financial Services Firm, or a high-profile relevant Association or Agency will be considered.
