WTW is seeking a seasoned pricing professional with deep expertise in the UK general insurance personal lines market to join our team as a Personal Lines Pricing Associate Director.

You will be an integral part of our UK and Ireland general insurance practice within the broader Insurance Consulting and Technology division, contributing to the growth and development of our pricing advisory capabilities. You'll collaborate with leading industry experts, designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions to address the complex pricing and underwriting challenges faced by top insurers and intermediaries in the UK.

Your role will involve:

  • Delivering best-in-class pricing and underwriting capability and process reviews for our diverse clientele.
  • Designing effective pricing analytics, building robust pricing models, tools, and processes utilizing a wide range of data science techniques.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of tailored underwriting approaches aligned with client portfolio management strategies.
  • Creating sophisticated MI (Management Information) and portfolio management capabilities to enhance client insights.
  • Leveraging your market knowledge to contribute to innovative personal lines pricing solutions in collaboration with various teams across WTW.

As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Establish yourself as a recognized expert and advocate for WTW's pricing consulting services and technology solutions within the market.
  • Manage workstreams within large projects, effectively communicating with clients and overseeing day-to-day project operations under the guidance of senior colleagues.
  • Collaborate across diverse projects and internal initiatives, prioritizing resources and managing workloads efficiently.
  • Cultivate trusted advisor relationships with client contacts through clear communication and the delivery of high-quality, efficient work.
  • Actively engage in a variety of assignments to maintain and develop a broad skill set encompassing technical expertise, management capabilities, and client relationship management.
  • Interface seamlessly with colleagues from various specializations, practices, and regions on projects that address clients' comprehensive business challenges and needs.
  • Contribute to the growth of the company's intellectual capital by developing innovative solutions and strategies for market implementation.
  • Develop compelling proposals for potential clients, showcasing the tangible value our offerings bring to their businesses.
  • Foster strong internal relationships and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Have the opportunity to mentor and guide more junior associates as a line manager or advisor.
