Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial and Contracts Manager to join our team at Pearson Whiffin Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating contracts, identifying risks and liabilities, and developing commercial strategies aligned with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Review and Negotiation: Review and negotiate customer contract terms and conditions to ensure accurate execution and compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Contract Management: Manage and review the drafting of contracts, including NDAs, SLAs, service agreements, and purchase orders.
  • Commercial Strategy Development: Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with business objectives, providing reports and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks and liabilities associated with contracts and business operations.
  • Travel and Communication: Travel throughout the UK to meet with clients and stakeholders, utilizing excellent communication and negotiation skills to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree-level education in Business or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within manufacturing or building services.
  • Skills: Excellent IT skills, strong commercial awareness, and experience of management and leadership.
  • License: Full UK driving license and willingness to travel UK-wide.
