About the Role

Advance TRS is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Engineer to join our Delivery team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating an effective and economic plant design and procurement strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure project costs are aligned with tender allowances and varied budgets.
  • Oversee the submission of payment applications on or before due dates.
  • Complete and submit contract reviews and monthly forecasts in a timely manner.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Assist in developing the Project Management strategy.
  • Establish and maintain contract filing systems.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor subcontract performance and provide data for the production of O&M manuals.
  • Liaise with site management on design and procurement issues.
  • Contribute to the preparation of construction completion and take-over documentation.
  • Ensure continuous professional development through participation in industry conferences and associations.
  • Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
  • Undertake additional duties, training, and hours of work as required.
  • Ensure confidentiality and work closely with design departments to progress quality solutions.
  • Evaluate innovative solutions and processes.
  • Contribute to risk and opportunity schedules on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure designs are safe to construct, commission, operate, and maintain.
  • Complete the capitalization process.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A basic Electrical engineering background.
  • Working knowledge of various conditions of contract, especially NEC.
  • An Engineering/Technical qualification (HNC minimum) required.
  • Experience of supply chain expedition.
  • Knowledge of water treatment processes.
  • CDM & Health & Safety knowledge.
