Job Description

Advance TRS is seeking a highly skilled Water Supply Planned Outage Manager to join our operations team. This is a critical role that requires a strong focus on safety, compliance, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety Management: Develop, implement, and monitor safety plans for all installation and commissioning activities as part of planned outages.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments for all planned operations, identifying potential hazards and implementing control measures to mitigate risks.
  • Permit to Work (PTW) System: Manage the PTW system, ensuring that all high-risk activities are properly authorized, documented, and conducted according to safety protocols.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure that all planned outage operations on the site comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between different stakeholders (operations, maintenance, contractors, and management) to ensure clear communication of safety requirements and operational plans.
  • Competency Management: Monitor the competency of personnel, ensuring that only qualified and trained individuals are authorized to perform specific tasks, especially those involving high-risk activities.
  • Environmental Safeguards: Ensure that all planned outage operations are conducted in a way that minimizes environmental impact, particularly in sensitive areas such as water sources and treatment facilities.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in the water industry.
  • Knowledge and understanding of construction contract law and forms of contract.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the Water quality standards and procedures.
