Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and negotiate NEC and JCT contractual documents to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Provide commercially minded legal advice to engineering, procurement, and project teams on construction and commercial law matters.
- Advise on adjudication processes and prepare claims, liaising with third parties and external lawyers as required.
- Support the Head of Legal in developing and implementing legal strategies to drive business growth and success.
- Qualified lawyer in England and Wales with a strong background in construction and commercial law.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating construction contracts, including NEC and JCT.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
