Position Title: Finance Business Partner

Location: South West London / Surrey

Compensation: £55,000 PA plus bonus & study support

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 days remote

Role Overview:

As a Finance Business Partner, you will be an integral member of the Finance team, reporting directly to the Commercial Finance & FP&A Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver precise forecasting, budgeting, and analytical insights that facilitate informed decision-making and foster business growth.

This position demands a strong collaborative spirit, as you will engage with various departments, particularly a dynamic sales team. You should be adept at managing diverse personalities and presenting financial data effectively in executive meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Collaboration: Work closely with Senior Management and Directors across various departments (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain) to build trust and credibility.
  • Financial Insight: Support modeling, pricing, costing, and profitability assessments. Aid the sales team with promotional and profitability evaluations, along with variance analysis based on price mix and volume impact.
  • Reporting Duties: Generate and distribute weekly/monthly operational reports, develop new reporting formats to address business needs, and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Data Analysis: Extract and analyze data from financial and operational systems to monitor expenditures and prepare monthly accruals and reports.
  • Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting enhancements, driving cost-saving initiatives and efficiency gains.
  • Ad-hoc Reporting: Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as necessary.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional communication abilities with a talent for influencing senior stakeholders and collaborating effectively within the Finance team.
  • Multitasking & Time Management: Capable of managing multiple tasks, working under pressure, and meeting stringent deadlines.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical capabilities with a focus on executing P&L analysis and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Power BI is advantageous.
  • Qualifications: Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with experience in ERP systems (NetSuite, TM1, Anaplan).
  • Industry Background: Previous experience in the confectionery sector or Manufacturing/FMCG, particularly within international organizations.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in a second foreign language, in addition to English.

Compensation Package:

  • Salary: £55,000
  • Annual Leave: 33 days
  • Study Support: For CIMA

  • Bonus Structure: Annually
  • Work Arrangement: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
