Job Title: Finance Business Partner

Location: South West London / Surrey

Salary: £55,000 PA plus bonus & study support

Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 home

Role Overview:

As a Finance Business Partner, you will be an integral part of the Finance team, reporting directly to the Commercial Finance & FP&A Manager. Your role will be crucial in delivering precise forecasting, budgeting, and analytical insights to facilitate informed decision-making and foster business development.

This position demands a strong collaborative spirit, particularly with a dynamic sales team. You should be adept at engaging with diverse personalities and presenting financial data in executive meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Collaboration: Build strong relationships with Senior Management and Directors across various departments (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain) to foster trust and credibility.
  • Financial Insights: Support in modeling, pricing, costing, and profitability assessments. Assist sales teams with promotional and profitability evaluations, as well as variance analysis based on price mix and volume impact.
  • Reporting: Generate and disseminate weekly/monthly operational reports, create new reports tailored to business requirements, and ensure the accuracy of financial documentation.
  • Data Analysis: Extract and analyze data from financial and operational systems to monitor expenditures and prepare monthly accruals and reports.
  • Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting enhancements, driving initiatives for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Ad-hoc Reporting: Provide additional analysis and reporting as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional communication abilities with a talent for influencing senior stakeholders and collaborating effectively within the Finance team.
  • Multitasking & Time Management: Capable of managing multiple tasks, thriving under pressure, and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical capabilities with a focus on executing P&L analysis and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Power BI is advantageous.
  • Qualifications: Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with experience in ERP systems (NetSuite, TM1, Anaplan).
  • Industry Background: Previous experience in the confectionery sector or Manufacturing/FMCG, particularly within international organizations.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in a second foreign language, in addition to English.

Compensation Package:

  • Salary: £55,000
  • Annual Leave: 33 days
  • Study Support: For CIMA

  • Working Arrangement: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
