About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Director to join our team at Michael Page Finance. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and financial planning to support the growth and development of our charity client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement financial plans to support the charity's strategic objectives.
  • Financial Management: Oversee all financial activities, including financial control, annual reports and accounts, month-end closing procedures, and budgeting and forecasting.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide timely and accurate financial reports to the Board of Trustees and senior management team.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and develop a finance team to ensure effective financial management and control.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders and collaborate with other departments to ensure effective financial planning and decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years accountancy experience, including payroll and charity sector experience
  • Skills: Financial planning and strategy, financial management, financial analysis, leadership and management, communication and collaboration
