Priory Hospital Barnt Green is nestled within the picturesque Lickey Hills Country Park, providing a serene environment for both staff and patients. The facility comprises thirty-three beds distributed across three wards, catering to various patient needs.

Our hospital not only offers inpatient services but also boasts a comprehensive Outpatient Department, a Daycare Service, and regional conference facilities. With ongoing expansions into ADHD, Autism, and CAMHS pathways, this is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated Therapy Team.

Role Responsibilities

The Administrative Coordinator is essential in delivering administrative support to the hospital, ensuring smooth operational processes within the organization. This position demands excellent organizational and communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting.

Key Duties:

Provide administrative assistance to the Senior Management Team (SMT), including organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes. Aid in the creation and dissemination of internal communications, memos, and reports. Maintain both electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring documents are systematically organized and readily accessible. Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for SMT members as required.

Office Administration:

Support the onboarding process for new hires, including workstation setup and provision of necessary office supplies.

Data Management:

Assist with data entry and database management tasks as necessary. Compile and organize data for various reports and presentations. Uphold the confidentiality and security of sensitive information at all times.

Event Planning:

Assist in the planning and coordination of company events, meetings, and conferences.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or a related field is advantageous. Some experience in an administrative role (not essential). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other office software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational abilities with the capability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Attention to detail and accuracy in all work aspects. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and perform well under pressure.

Working Environment:

This role typically operates within a professional office setting. Regular working hours, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime as needed. May involve occasional lifting of office supplies or equipment.
