POSITION SUMMARY

Join NOV FGS Plymouth as a Production Team Supervisor and become an integral part of our Factory Management Team.

The ideal candidates will possess relevant experience in a supervisory capacity, demonstrating a strong capability to lead personnel while fostering a safe and efficient work atmosphere.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Accountable for ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products in accordance with the production schedule.
  • Guarantee adherence to FGS Plymouth BMS controls across all factory operations, meeting and surpassing quality, environmental, health, and safety standards.
  • Document and report any infractions and deviations from established protocols.
  • Advocate for a secure working environment
    • BMS Compliance (Policies, Procedures, SOI's RAMS and COSHH etc).
    • Promote a Safety Culture and Safe Systems of Work
    • Maintain Factory Environment - Housekeeping Standards
    • Identify Risks and Implement STOP WORK procedures (5x5)
  • Lead designated teams in executing assigned tasks.
  • Facilitate workflow throughout the factory.
  • Uphold the standards of craftsmanship (quality).
  • Responsible for maintaining traceability of all materials and related documentation (WIP and Quality Records).
  • Provide daily updates on the progress of completed tasks.
  • Ensure optimal utilization and productivity of team members at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with all Environmental and waste management protocols by your team.
  • Identify and report any SHE incidents or issues to the Area Manager / Operations Admin Team that may lead to non-value-added efforts from the team.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Exceptional ability to comprehend, assess, and apply technical information.
  • Skilled in exercising sound judgment under tight deadlines.
  • Able to allocate time effectively to complete tasks.
  • Willing to provide colleagues with necessary information to facilitate their tasks and remove obstacles.
  • Able to define, operate within, and enhance business processes while exercising sound judgment based on immediate and future business needs.
  • Reliable in taking personal responsibility in challenging situations and willing to engage in discussions to resolve disputes fairly.
  • Energized by challenges and attracted to opportunities.
  • Dedicated to self-improvement and development through the role to achieve career aspirations. Eager and motivated to advance within the organization.
  • Possess a strong sense of customer focus (internal/external).
  • Firm yet diplomatic in negotiations.
