We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team, starting initially part-time with a plan to go full-time. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong background in office administration.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate, and implement new procedures to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  2. Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary to maintain a well-stocked and efficient workspace.
  3. Supervise administrative staff and divide responsibilities to ensure performance and productivity.
  4. Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating office personnel to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
  5. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and tact.
  6. Maintain a safe and secure working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience in an Office Manager role or similar position, with a strong track record of success.
  2. Proficiency in Xero and other accounting software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  3. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
  4. Strong supervisory and team management abilities, with a focus on motivating and developing staff.
  5. Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures, with a strong attention to detail.
  6. Understanding of human resources practices, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  7. Familiarity with general office operations, including finance, HR, and facilities management.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week
