Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate authorization, processing, and recording of all supplier invoices in Sage.
  • Manage the setup of new supplier accounts in Sage.
  • Analyze and process supplier invoices according to project codes and departmental allocations.
  • Address supplier inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Maintain up-to-date supplier records and foster strong relationships with vendors.
  • Process employee expense claims in Sage.
  • Assist with the weekly payment runs for both UK and international suppliers.
  • Oversee the management of the payables mailbox.
  • Maintain and reconcile duty and freight cost controls.
  • Handle prepayments and accruals for supplier invoices.
  • Safeguard fixed asset additions.
  • Conduct reconciliations for Soldo and Barclaycard.
  • Prepare monthly international VAT returns, collaborating closely with external VAT consultants.
  • Support cost analytics and reporting initiatives.
  • Assist in calculating landed costs, sales pricing, and net profit reporting.
  • Help address queries during the annual audit process.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the POP process.
  • Perform ad hoc finance-related tasks as required.

You may be required to undertake various tasks to adapt to the evolving needs of the business.

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Partially or fully qualified AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with Sage (200c) is highly desirable.
  • Highly organized and efficient, with a focus on priorities and deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic and dedicated.
  • Responsible and a quick learner.
