At Focus Group, we're seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our purchase ledger processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring creditors are paid according to agreed terms.
  • Assist in the preparation of fortnightly payment runs for manager approval.
  • Manage the purchase ledger inbox, maintaining a high level of organization and methodical approach.
  • Match and verify invoices to our purchase order system.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure invoices and internal queries are actioned swiftly.
  • Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details in accordance with internal compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve purchase enquiries or disputes with suppliers.
  • Reconcile supplier statements.
  • Maintain strong business relationships with suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage own workload effectively.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Exceptional level of organization.
