Financial Transactions Coordinator

At Focus Group, we're seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our purchase ledger processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring creditors are paid according to agreed terms.
- Assist in the preparation of fortnightly payment runs for manager approval.
- Manage the purchase ledger inbox, maintaining a high level of organization and methodical approach.
- Match and verify invoices to our purchase order system.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure invoices and internal queries are actioned swiftly.
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details in accordance with internal compliance.
- Investigate and resolve purchase enquiries or disputes with suppliers.
- Reconcile supplier statements.
- Maintain strong business relationships with suppliers.
Requirements:
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
- Self-motivated and able to manage own workload effectively.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Exceptional level of organization.
