About the Role
University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust is seeking an experienced administrative professional to join our Maternity Services team as a Maternity Administrative Support Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing comprehensive administrative support to the Maternity Business Administration Manager and the Midwifery Leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide efficient and comprehensive administrative support, including diary management, meeting coordination, and document preparation.
- Support the Maternity Business Administration Manager with workforce sickness management, appraisal recording, and recruitment processes.
- Assist with arrangements for meetings, training, and service visits, including venue organization and hospitality.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 4 in business administration or equivalent experience.
- Advanced keyboard skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
- Proven experience in a secretarial or administrative role, with the ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
