About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at ROC Northwest. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children and young people in all aspects of their daily lives, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and their families, encouraging participation in community activities and promoting independence.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and nurturing environment, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Participate in sleep-ins and undertake basic housekeeping duties as required.
  • Engage in activities that promote social skills, emotional intelligence, and personal growth, such as arts and crafts, sports, and educational programs.
Requirements
  • A manual UK driving licence is required for use of company vehicles.
  • Ability to work long day shifts, including weekends, and participate in sleep-ins.
  • Desirable: Children's Residential Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with children and young people.
