Position Overview

Are you dedicated to fostering a secure environment? We are in search of a committed Relief Security Officer to safeguard individuals and assets across multiple locations. As an integral member of our security team, you will serve as the primary line of defense, overseeing activities and documenting any incidents utilizing equipment such as wands and metal detectors. With a strong focus on ongoing development and training, your contributions will be vital in sustaining a secure atmosphere.

Role Details:
  • Weekly Commitment: 24 hours per week
  • Requirements: SIA license is mandatory
  • Transportation: Must possess a driving license or have access to dependable transport

Your Responsibilities Include:
  • Preventing and deterring unauthorized access to the premises.
  • Monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV as necessary.
  • Conducting both external and internal security patrols.
  • Managing keys and executing locking and unlocking duties.
  • Maintaining all logbooks and records meticulously.
  • Documenting and reporting any faults, health and safety hazards, and unsafe practices to management.
Essential Qualifications
  • SIA license
  • Previous experience in the security sector
  • Eligibility to work in the UK with a verifiable five-year history
  • Ability to arrive at the site punctually for shifts (reasonable commute)
  • Dependable and punctual
