Security Operations Relief Officer

Vigilant Security is excited to present a unique opportunity for a dedicated security professional to join our growing team, providing services to prestigious clients.

Position Overview:

This role operates on a casual contract basis, encompassing various shifts including days, nights, and weekends, with potential for additional hours.

The successful candidate (SIA license required) will oversee the daily security needs at a key location, upholding a professional image and high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a courteous and welcoming experience to all guests.
  • Proactively identify and address client needs to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain a visible presence, engaging with visitors to foster a customer-focused environment.
  • Provide consistent and professional service at all times.
  • Promptly communicate visitor/client arrivals to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain heightened security awareness at all times.
  • Conduct regular patrols and inspections as directed by management.
  • Utilize communication equipment effectively, demonstrating strong communication skills.
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies.
  • Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Issue visitor passes following established protocols.
  • Keep detailed records of any incidents that occur.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with individuals at all levels.
  • Impeccable presentation standards.
  • Clear, concise, and confident communication skills, focused on customer service with a keen attention to detail.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Proficient in computer use.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Eligibility for background vetting for the past five years or since leaving compulsory education.
  • Willingness to support the broader team as needed.
  • Current SIA license is essential.
