Securitas Security Services is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Security Relief Officers. This role involves performing thorough searches akin to airport security protocols at our designated client locations.

Position: Security Relief Officer

Hours: Full-time, ranging from 24 to 42 hours weekly

Shift Patterns: Days, Nights, and Weekends

Transport: Must have access to a vehicle or reliable transport options

Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of experience in the security field with a valid SIA license.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

  • Conducting thorough searches of all personnel, visitors, and contractors exiting the premises.
  • Patrolling various facilities, including industrial, scientific, and office environments, as well as the perimeter of the site.
  • Inspecting vehicles entering and leaving the premises.
  • Overseeing outdoor loading and unloading operations to ensure compliance with security protocols and managing site control room activities.
  • Responding to incidents and alarms, managing keys, and performing locking and unlocking duties.

Note: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn at all times. Regular physical searches and X-ray machine checks are mandatory on this site, and individuals with body piercings may need to remove them prior to their shift.

Essential Qualifications

Required Criteria:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK with a 5-year verifiable history.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the security industry.
  • Possession of a valid SIA license.
  • Strong customer service skills, interpersonal abilities, and effective time management, along with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Flexibility to cover shifts during weekdays, nights, and weekends.

Preferred:

  • CCTV license (assistance in obtaining this can be provided).
