The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team, responsible for driving new business growth and revenue expansion through strategic sales and account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to identify and pursue new business opportunities, exceeding sales targets and contributing to the company's revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement sales plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives and goals.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, informing sales strategies and tactics.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports, ensuring accurate and timely data to inform business decisions.
  • Attend sales and operations meetings to stay informed and contribute to team discussions.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development, with a strong understanding of the logistics and transportation industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
