Position Overview

Foreign Exchange Sales Specialist

At Fintech-Rec, our Foreign Exchange division provides comprehensive pricing solutions across more than 40 currencies, encompassing spot transactions, forwards, non-deliverable forwards, and options, including a range of exotic products. We leverage extensive banking relationships built over three decades to deliver exceptional pricing to our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • · Cultivate and oversee a diverse client portfolio, including corporations, institutions, and smaller banking entities for Foreign Exchange services.
  • · Effectively market FX products, including derivatives, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • · Collaborate with fellow sales professionals to establish new FX partnerships and cross-sell to commodity clients.
  • · Engage in daily activities such as client outreach, onboarding processes, and addressing client inquiries, while supporting the broader FX team.
  • · Coordinate closely with internal departments that support the FX operations across EMEA and other regions, including Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Onboarding.
  • · Oversee post-trade client services and workflow management.
  • · Ensure adherence to the company's regulatory obligations.
  • · Follow the operational risk framework relevant to your role, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company-defined parameters.
  • · Serve as a model of integrity and professionalism, embodying the values of the organization.
  • · Maintain awareness of and comply with internal policies related to your responsibilities.
  • · Report any policy violations to Compliance or your supervisor as necessary.
  • · Promptly escalate any risk-related incidents.
  • · Contribute to risk management initiatives as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • · 2-3 years of experience in FX Sales.
  • · Strong skills in pricing and structuring financial products.
  • · An entrepreneurial mindset with a high degree of adaptability.
  • · Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of simplifying complex processes.
  • · Solid understanding of FX derivatives.
  • · Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • · Exceptional communication skills; proficiency in foreign languages is advantageous.
  • · Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • · Experience in a regulated environment with knowledge of associated risk and compliance requirements.
