Global Oil & Gas Contract SpecialistWe are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Contract Advisor to join our esteemed client's Project Controls Group. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of large-scale oil and gas projects within a dynamic and challenging environment.
Responsibilities:- Manage the procurement process, from development to execution, ensuring optimal commercial outcomes for diverse contractual actions.
- Administer contracts meticulously, guaranteeing all terms and conditions are implemented effectively across projects.
- Develop and refine contracting strategies tailored to various project types, aligning with company objectives.
- Champion the implementation of the client's Procurement Manual for all contracts, ensuring strict adherence to guidelines and procedures.
- Prepare and review comprehensive change order packages, upholding compliance with established protocols.
- Develop and execute negotiation strategies for change orders, effectively representing the company's interests.
- Actively participate in negotiation meetings for all change orders, fostering collaborative solutions.
- Drive supplier performance evaluation initiatives by collaborating with project teams to assess contractor effectiveness.
- Conduct counseling sessions with underperforming contractors, documenting required actions and implementing corrective measures.
- Perform periodic compliance reviews of active contracts, identifying potential risks and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
- Possess a minimum of four years' experience holding a bachelor's degree from an accredited UK university in Business, Engineering, Law, or Contracts Management. An advanced degree is highly desirable.
- Demonstrate at least 10 years of specialized contracting experience within the design, consultancy, and construction industries.
