Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Support Specialist to become a vital part of our healthcare team. This role is available on a full-time basis, with clinic hours typically scheduled from 8am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, and occasional Saturday mornings.

Our services extend across various regions, necessitating travel. We provide compensation for mileage and additional travel time, and our logistics team strives to minimize travel distances. A vehicle is required for this position due to the nature of our community-based services.

Our compensation package is competitive, with a full-time equivalent salary of £23,478 per annum, along with 25 days of paid annual leave plus bank holidays, and a 4% non-contributory employer pension contribution.

Key Responsibilities

As a Patient Care Support Specialist, you will play an essential role in our clinical operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating the efficient operation of clinics.
  • Assisting patients and caregivers to ensure a high-quality care experience.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver a variety of services, including Urology, DVT, Minor Surgery, and Ultrasound.

Under the guidance of registered nurses, medical consultants, GPs, sonographers, vascular scientists, and other clinical professionals, you will be supported in developing competencies across various services. Your duties may involve performing bladder scans, taking patient observations, conducting urinary flow tests, and other necessary procedures.

You will work collaboratively with the team to ensure clinics operate safely and efficiently, focusing on personalized care approaches to enhance the patient experience.
