London, Greater London, United Kingdom Howden Group Holdings Full time

About Us:

Howden is a global collective of skilled and dedicated professionals committed to redefining the insurance landscape. Our strength lies in our collaborative spirit, with a diverse team of 15,000 employees across more than 100 countries.

Our workforce is our most valuable asset, driving our unique culture, exceptional client service, and ongoing growth through a people-first philosophy. We believe in collective success, where every individual contributes their expertise to create meaningful impact. This is the essence of Howden.

Why Choose Howden?

As an employee-owned organization fueled by entrepreneurial energy, we prioritize attracting talented individuals and empowering them to make significant contributions while fostering rewarding careers. We are dedicated to hiring specialists and equipping them with the resources necessary to enhance client experiences.

Employees are drawn to Howden for various reasons, but they remain for our distinctive culture. It is what differentiates us and the reason our team members consistently choose to stay despite outside opportunities. Whether your focus is on work/life balance, career advancement, sustainability, or community involvement, you will find a community of like-minded individuals driving positive change at Howden.

We are currently looking for a Client Relations Coordinator to help us achieve outstanding results for our clients. This position emphasizes delivering superior client service within our Pensions division and ensuring we effectively support our clients' operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute tasks related to scheme renewals or market evaluations according to client specifications, including data collation and analysis, and assist the Consultancy Team with report generation.
  • Assess insurer performance on behalf of clients and engage with insurers at a higher level to resolve any challenges.
  • Address client inquiries (both verbal and written) in accordance with service level agreements and coordinate with insurers as needed.
  • Maintain all internal systems in compliance with established processes.
  • Take ownership of task delivery and proactively manage your workload.
  • Cultivate client relationships alongside the Consultancy team to support retention and growth initiatives.
  • Provide peer review assistance as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in Group Pension, ideally from a similar role within an Employee Benefits Consultancy or Insurance Provider.
  • Holding RO1 & RO4 qualifications is preferred but not mandatory; we will support you in obtaining these.
  • Strong understanding of current Group Pension providers in the market.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, compliance standards, and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of the Employee Benefits sector and its related products.
  • A motivated individual with a keen interest in learning about the Employee Benefits industry, particularly the Group Pension sector.

Ideal Candidate:

At Howden, we embrace diversity; there is no singular 'Howden personality.' We seek individuals who align with our core values:

  • Our achievements stem from those brave enough to innovate.
  • We support one another through both everyday moments and significant challenges.
  • We are committed to making a positive impact, both in the workplace and beyond.

What We Offer:

A career path defined by you.

Our success is rooted in empowering our employees to make meaningful contributions in areas they are passionate about: personal growth, community service, and developing innovative insurance solutions that address societal challenges.

We recognize that a clear distinction between home and work life is often unrealistic. If you are content and healthy at home, you are more likely to thrive and find fulfillment at work, and vice versa. Therefore, we strive to support our employees in all aspects of their lives.

Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:

At Howden, we view our workforce as our primary competitive advantage. We treat colleagues, candidates, clients, and business partners with equality, fairness, and respect, regardless of age, disability, race, religion or belief, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, or family circumstances.

Our Sustainability Commitment:

We are on a continuous journey to enhance our sustainability efforts. This commitment encompasses caring for our people and the environment, conducting responsible business, and making a positive impact wherever possible. Our governance practices, company policies, and review systems are all aligned with our goal of fostering a positive influence in the world.
