About the Role

NELFT North East London Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Phlebotomist to join our team as a Phlebotomy Service Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage our phlebotomy services, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the phlebotomy service, ensuring compliance with Trust policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and train junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
  • Monitor and report on service performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements

  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent standard of literacy and numeracy.
  • Accredited Qualification in Venepuncture.
  • Basic First Aid Qualification.
  • Experience of supervising and training junior staff.
  • Experience of Phlebotomy, including Domiciliary experience.
