About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. As an HR Business Partner, you will provide professional and customer-focused HR leadership, advice, and support to Divisional leads and managers to help improve and support staff engagement, address workforce issues, enhance patient care and efficiencies, and achieve divisional and people objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert HR advice and support to Divisional leads and managers to help improve staff engagement, address workforce issues, and enhance patient care and efficiencies.
- Influence and support the strategic direction of the Division by providing HR analysis and reports to help facilitate the Division's achievement of their Workforce KPIs.
- Lead on providing professional senior HR support and coaching to improve divisional staff engagement and resolve workforce issues.
- Design and deliver HR training sessions to improve manager awareness and capability on a range of issues and to support the roll-out of HR initiatives.
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Educated to masters level in HR Management or equivalent level of experience of working in a relevant HR senior role.
- Significant HR experience in a large complex organisation/Experience of addressing HR workforce issues.
- Change management, restructuring, TUPE, and/or employee relations.
- Analysis of staffing data and design of improvement plans.
Desirable:
- CIPD qualified, Associate level or above.
- HR Business Partnering or HR advisory experience in the NHS/healthcare sector.
- Experience of utilising service improvement methodology e.g. Kaizen.
