JOB DESCRIPTION

The selected individual will play a crucial role within the Measurement Allocation and Auditing (MAA) team, contributing significantly to the identification of new opportunities. This role requires a self-reliant professional who can collaborate effectively within a broader support team as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will join the MAA Assurance division and should possess experience in conducting both internal and external measurement evaluations.

Applicants must have successfully completed ISO 9001 certification and have familiarity with ISO 17020 compliance. Additional requirements include OPITO UK Survival Training, a UK Medical Certificate, and a Full UK driving license. The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented individual, providing measurement support, guidance, and training as required.

Wood is looking for a candidate with prior experience in a measurement team, covering essential areas such as Engineering Support, Fiscal and Allocation Audits, and ME2 verifications. The candidate should have substantial industry experience, particularly in Flow Measurement, and be recognized as an expert in the field.

The individual must demonstrate full competency in flow quality measurement, utilizing a diverse range of technologies, and possess extensive knowledge of ISO, AGA, and AGI measurement standards and calculations. The candidate should be capable of making informed judgments based on experience regarding the significance of any measurement-related issues that may arise.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Skills:

  • Provide Technical and Engineering Support to Client Assets.
  • Optimize Maintenance Processes.
  • Review and Update Procedures.
  • Conduct On-Site Gap Analyses to Identify Improvement Opportunities.
  • Identify Measurement Enhancements.
  • Review OEM Project Documentation (FDS, etc.).
  • Participate in FAT and produce relevant procedures and documentation.
  • Participate in SAT and produce relevant procedures and documentation.
  • Conduct ME2 Verifications.
  • Report on Measurement Compliance.
  • Review Dispensations, Deviations, and Mismeasurements on behalf of assets to regulatory authorities or asset operators.
QUALIFICATIONS

Skills/Qualifications:

The candidate will be a self-motivated professional with a background in measurement.
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Significant industry experience, particularly in Flow Measurement, and recognized expertise in the field.
Measurement Expertise:
  • Application of Measurement and Analyzers.
  • Sampling and Laboratory Analysis.
  • Flow Calculations.
  • Phase Behavior and PVT Applications.
  • Multiphase and Wet Gas Metering.
  • Uncertainty Analysis.
  • Equipment Testing and Qualification.
  • Familiarity with Industry Standards: API, AGA, GPA, ASTM, ISO, EI, OIML, GOST, etc.
  • Commercial Support for Production Agreements and Regulatory Permits.
  • Investigation and Reporting of Allocation Disputes.
  • Process Simulation Modeling.
