The ideal candidate will play a crucial role within the Measurement Allocation and Auditing (MAA) team, contributing significantly to identifying and pursuing new opportunities. Key Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will join the MAA Assurance department, bringing experience in conducting both internal and external measurement audits.

Essential qualifications include successful completion of ISO 9001 certification, familiarity with ISO 17020 compliance, OPITO UK Survival Training, a UK Medical Certificate, and a valid UK driving license. The candidate must be a collaborative team member, providing measurement support, guidance, and training as necessary.

Wood PLC seeks individuals with prior experience in measurement teams, covering essential areas such as Engineering Support, fiscal audits, and allocation assessments. Proficiency in ME2 verifications is also required. The candidate should possess extensive industry experience, particularly in Flow Measurement, and be recognized as an expert in the field.

Applicants must demonstrate full competency in flow quality measurement, utilizing a diverse range of technologies, and possess a comprehensive understanding of ISO, AGA, and AGI measurement standards and calculations. The ability to make informed judgments based on experience regarding the significance of measurement issues is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Skills:

  • Provide technical and engineering support to client assets.
  • Optimize maintenance processes.
  • Review and update operational procedures.
  • Conduct on-site gap analyses to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Identify measurement enhancements.
  • Review original equipment manufacturer (OEM) project documentation.
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and produce relevant documentation.
  • Engage in Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and generate necessary documentation.
  • Conduct ME2 verifications.
  • Report on measurement compliance.
  • Review dispensations, deviations, and mismeasurements on behalf of regulatory authorities or asset operators.
QUALIFICATIONS

Skills and Qualifications:

The candidate should be a self-motivated professional with a background in measurement.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Significant industry experience, particularly in Flow Measurement, and recognized expertise in the sector.
Measurement Expertise:
  • Application of measurement and analyzers.
  • Sampling and laboratory analysis.
  • Flow calculations.
  • Phase behavior and PVT applications.
  • Multiphase and wet gas metering.
  • Uncertainty analysis.
  • Equipment testing and qualification.
  • Familiarity with industry standards: API, AGA, GPA, ASTM, ISO, EI, OIML, GOST, etc.
  • Commercial support for production agreements and regulatory permits.
  • Investigation and reporting of allocation disputes.
  • Process simulation modeling.
