Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Flow Measurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our measurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our measurement systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare conceptual detailed design specifications for new and upgraded measurement systems, software overviews, acceptance test procedures, recertification test procedures, and maintenance procedures.
  • Review, monitor and control of measurement system performance and make technically sound recommendations to offshore and onshore personnel.
  • Maintain close customer relationship and communications.
  • Provide technical guidance and assurance to the metering support engineers.
  • Support clients UKETS validation and assurance processes for annual reporting to the regulator.
  • Project Management.

Requirements:

  • Extensive working knowledge and experience on offshore environments and the operation of Fiscal, Allocation and Environmental metering systems.
  • Able to develop, monitor and control meter system performance and make technically sound recommendations to offshore and onshore personnel.
  • Capable of reviewing and understanding process data in the evaluation of complex mismeasurements and providing sound justification when not required.
  • Excellent working knowledge of relevant flow measurement standards, regulatory guidelines and industry codes of practice (IP, API, AGA, HM, BS and ISO standards).
  • Capable of preparing conceptual detailed design specifications for new and upgrade measurement systems, software overviews, acceptance test procedures, recertification test procedures, and maintenance procedures.
  • A proven track record for the development and coaching of team members to improve competency.
  • Ability to perform flow calculation checks to support the wider team through the operation of standard software packages.
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience in oil & gas flow measurement or a related industry.
  • Understanding and awareness of the oil and gas business as a whole and the impact of measurement activity on the business.
  • Offshore survival.
  • Willing to travel overseas.
  • OGUK Offshore Medical.
  • Full driving license.
