About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neuropsychologist to join our team at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing expert psychological assessments and interventions for individuals with acquired and neurodegenerative brain injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments to inform treatment plans and support individuals with complex psychological presentations.
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based interventions to promote cognitive, emotional, and behavioral well-being.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Provide formal and ad-hoc supervision to junior staff, including trainees, to support their professional development.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic plans and service improvements to enhance the quality of care and services.

Requirements
  • Eligibility for registration as a Chartered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with the British Psychological Society.
  • Post-graduate Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, or equivalent.
  • Experience in neuropsychological assessments and interventions, with a focus on acquired and neurodegenerative brain injuries.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to meet the travel requirements of the post.
