We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Neuropsychologist to join our team at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and delivering psychological interventions for individuals with acquired and neurodegenerative brain injuries, including functional neurological disorder (FND).
Main Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments and provide evidence-based interventions for individuals with complex psychological presentations and physical health difficulties.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) and provide case discussion and care planning with a focus on sharing biopsychosocial formulations and evidence-based interventions.
- Develop and implement audit, research, and service development initiatives to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
- Provide formal and ad-hoc supervision to other staff, including trainees, and offer teaching and learning opportunities.
- Lead the development of a matched care approach with an emphasis on multi-disciplinary working and psychological consultation.
