About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team in Worcestershire, working in our neuropsychological pathways. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of a matched care approach with an emphasis on multi-disciplinary working and psychological consultation.
  • Contribute to audit, research, and service development.
  • Provide formal and ad-hoc supervision to other staff, including trainees, as well as teaching and learning opportunities.
  • Active contribution to MDTs, providing case discussion and care planning with an emphasis on sharing biopsychosocial formulations and evidence-based interventions.

Person Specification

We are looking for a qualified Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with a strong background in neuropsychology and experience in working with clients with complex psychological presentations and physical health difficulties. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a qualified Clinical/Counselling Psychologist and be eligible for registration as a Chartered Psychologist (Clinical or Counselling) by the BPS.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the principles of matched care and be able to contribute to the development of this approach. They will also have experience of teaching and training psychologists in a Clinical/Counselling Psychology doctorate training course and be able to lead in relation to the development and organisation of psychological interventions within a given clinical area.
