Job Overview

HSBC is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Cards Utility function, driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

This role is a critical part of our Wealth and Personal Banking business, supporting millions of individuals, families, and businesses worldwide.

We provide a wide range of financial products and services, including current accounts, credit cards, personal loans, and mortgages, as well as savings, investments, insurance, and wealth management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the Cards Utility function to ensure seamless customer journeys and efficient operations.
  2. Drive the operational elements of card processes and journeys, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  3. Own risk oversight and controls for the cards journey, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Provide inspirational leadership, embedding strategic ambitions and driving team engagement.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  1. Deep technical expertise in unsecured card management, with a proven track record of delivering across a broad scorecard of customer and conduct.
  2. Experience in setting strategic direction for an organization, galvanizing stakeholders, and delivering across the matrix.
  3. History of cards journey management, with a strong understanding of current and future regulatory environments.
  4. Strong leadership skills and the ability to demonstrate thought leadership.
