About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will be responsible for reviewing and completing a range of Accounts Payable routine processes and ensuring they are completed on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake daily corporate payments, ensuring they are all completed within the deadline and according to the payment terms set by the supplier.
  • Ad-hoc manual payments to assist with urgent requirements of the business.
  • Complete the daily reconciliation of the corporate bank accounts to ensure all transactions are recorded daily.
  • Understand and adhere to all process controls (e.g. internal risk controls, data protection, money laundering etc.) to ensure all activity in the role is fully compliant with business and legal requirements.
  • Coding and posting supplier invoices to the relevant nominal code and Cost centre.
  • Checking and processing staff expenses to ensure fast reimbursement of funds.
  • Reviewing the expenditure on corporate credit cards to ensure all costs abide by the policy in place.
  • Liaising with the budget holders to acquire payment approval and dealing with various queries.
  • Generate, analyze and reconcile month-end reporting files to assist in the consolidation of the management accounts.
  • Raising intercompany recharge invoices and preparing intercompany balances for the month-end
  • Assisting in the quarterly VAT return submissions
  • Compile statistical and financial information to ensure management receives appropriate information in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Carrying out general office duties, keeping records up to date, filing and general correspondence and assisting in the collation of reports and supporting documentation for the company auditors and other internal or external sources as required.
