MIDAS Specialist Recruitment Ltd is seeking a talented Graduate Project Engineer to join our client, a global manufacturing company located in Thornton-Cleveleys, Lancashire. Our client values innovation, operational excellence, diversity, environment, and integrity, and we are looking for someone who shares these values.

As a Graduate Project Engineer, you will report to the Technical Project Manager and be responsible for providing project engineering support to the Technical Projects group. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing budgets and leading small projects
  • Providing support for the planning and management of smaller projects from design through to plant handover
  • Providing technical engineering/problem solving support for smaller scale technological improvements within the business
  • Managing contractors involved in process improvement activities
  • Supporting the Technical Project Manager and Head of Process Design and Projects as required

Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree
  • Chemical/plastic manufacturing environment experience
  • Working towards the attainment of a professional 'Project Management' qualification
