Job Summary:

The Lexington Catering is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Food Services to lead our team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our clients. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food services, ensuring that our high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Coordinate Food Services: Oversee the planning, preparation, and presentation of food and beverages for our clients, ensuring that all meals meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Lead and Develop the Team: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of chefs, cooks, and hospitality staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service.
  • Manage Budgets and Resources: Develop and manage budgets for food, labor, and supplies, ensuring that we are operating within our financial targets and making efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure Compliance and Quality: Ensure that all food safety and quality standards are met, and that our operations are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with Clients: Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, understanding their needs and preferences, and working with them to deliver tailored solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Monitor and Improve Performance: Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of our food services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to ensure that we are delivering the highest level of quality and service.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role in the food services industry, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and leading teams to success.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Financial Management: Strong financial management skills, with the ability to develop and manage budgets, and make informed decisions about resource allocation.
  • Food Safety and Quality: A deep understanding of food safety and quality standards, with the ability to ensure that our operations meet the highest standards.
  • Client Focus: A strong focus on client satisfaction, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and deliver tailored solutions that meet their needs.
