About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in the food industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Manage and grow key accounts in the retail sector, ensuring strong relationships and successful business outcomes.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with key clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Commercial Issues: Manage and resolve commercial issues with clients, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular sales reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting key trends and opportunities.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven sales experience: A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the food industry, with a strong track record of sales growth and account management.
  • Industry knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the food industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Commercial acumen: Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to negotiate and manage contracts.
  • IT skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
