About the Organization
We are seeking a motivated Events and Marketing Specialist to enhance our Marketing department, operating in a hybrid work environment.
Your main focus will be to oversee and advance our marketing initiatives and events, ensuring they consistently reflect the Galbraith brand and deliver value.
As a multi-disciplinary firm with a presence across Scotland and Northern England, we specialize in various sectors including property sales, lettings, rural and energy consultancy, natural capital, forestry, and commercial property advisory services. This role offers a diverse range of tasks and the chance to manage events in multiple locations, necessitating travel.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include assessing, coordinating, promoting, attending, and managing a variety of company events, seminars, and functions, both in-person and virtual, that effectively engage our current and prospective clients. This encompasses all aspects from front-of-house activities to behind-the-scenes logistics.
You will also be tasked with collecting, analyzing, and presenting feedback on events to ensure their success and that our marketing efforts are effectively reaching our target audience. Essential components of this role include sourcing promotional materials, organizing event logistics, creating content for website and social media promotions, coordinating event newsletters, invitations, and managing RSVPs and guest lists.
Collaboration with the broader marketing team will be crucial, particularly in the preparation of presentation materials for seminars in line with corporate standards.
Qualifications for Success
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar events role is required, along with proven organizational and administrative capabilities. You should be adept at prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines in a dynamic environment where your creativity and digital proficiency will be essential. Being part of a marketing team, you should possess energy, an inquisitive nature, and a keen attention to detail.
A valid driving license and access to a vehicle for business purposes are necessary.
