Position Overview
We are seeking a Clinical Operations Leader to spearhead our Clinical Research Nursing and Laboratory Operations teams in the UK, ensuring adherence to the highest scientific and medical standards.

  • This is a full-time, clinic-based role.
  • Standard working hours are 37 hours per week, primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as required.

Team Leadership
You will be responsible for cultivating a high-performing team. Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding the UK Research Nurses and Laboratory Operations teams, where your success will directly correlate with theirs.

  • You will oversee the Supervisors Team, managing a total of over 40 personnel.

Strategic Direction
We trust you to provide strategic guidance, leadership, and comprehensive performance management, which includes goal setting, KPI management, performance evaluations, and fostering professional development.

Continuous Improvement
You will be tasked with driving ongoing enhancements and best practices within the laboratory, identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.

Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will possess a blend of scientific knowledge, people management skills, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

  • A proven track record of progressive leadership roles in clinical research or related fields.
  • A minimum of three years of supervisory experience, particularly in developing leaders overseeing large teams.
  • Extensive experience in conducting performance evaluations, team goal initiatives, mentoring, and training.

Educational Background
Applicants should hold a BSc in a scientific or medical discipline. A Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.
