The Role of Facilities Caretaker

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our facilities team as a Facilities Caretaker. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our airport facilities, including hangar floors, toilets, and welfare areas. This will involve daily cleaning, waste management, and external cleaning and bin emptying.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of airport facilities, including hangar floors, toilets, and welfare areas
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting
  • Manage waste and recyclables, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Perform external cleaning and bin emptying, as required
  • Assist with maintenance and repairs, as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors

Requirements

  • Basic DIY skills and experience with maintenance procedures
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full and clean driving license
  • Checkable five-year employment history
