About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales Assistant at Majestic Wine. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales performance in our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to every customer, ensuring a positive shopping experience and building customer loyalty.
  • Sales Performance: Drive sales performance by maximising sales opportunities, supporting the team to meet and exceed targets, and focusing on KPI delivery.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our wine range, including wine styles, regions, and pairing suggestions.
  • Store Operations: Take ownership of the physical appearance and maintenance of the store, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for customers.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve sales targets, share knowledge, and support each other in delivering exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Wine Knowledge: Passion for wine and a willingness to learn and develop wine knowledge, with the goal of achieving a WSET qualification.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment, with the ability to respond to changing situations and priorities.
