Albany Beck is seeking a skilled and committed IT Application Support Analyst to become a vital part of our innovative IT department. This position involves collaborating with a prominent Investment Banking and Wealth Management organization to facilitate a long-term initiative. The role is essential for maintaining, enhancing, and ensuring the seamless operation of enterprise applications, especially within the Microsoft environment and SWIFT messaging systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Support and Maintenance:

  • Deliver daily support for business applications, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  • Quickly troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues.
  • Conduct regular system monitoring to verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.

Database Management:

  • Design, implement, and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Oversee and manage databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Execute data migration, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using SSIS.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Create, develop, and maintain reports utilizing SSRS.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into technical specifications for reporting and analytics.

CRM and MS Dynamics:

  • Support CRM applications, particularly MS Dynamics.
  • Customize and configure MS Dynamics CRM to align with business requirements.
  • Assist in integrating CRM with other business applications.

Scripting and Automation:

  • Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks and enhance efficiency.
  • Implement and manage automated processes to support application deployments and maintenance activities.

SWIFT Messaging:

  • Administer and support SWIFT messaging services to ensure secure and reliable financial communications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SWIFT messaging issues while ensuring compliance with SWIFT standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to manage SWIFT-related projects and updates.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Engage closely with the IT team and business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Document technical procedures and user guides to promote knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in SSRS and SSIS.
  • Strong experience with SQL and PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly MS Dynamics.
  • Experience with SWIFT messaging systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the financial services or wealth management sector is advantageous.
