Lead Orthopaedic Theatre Specialist | Full Time | Permanent

We are pleased to announce a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Orthopaedic Theatre Specialist to become a pivotal member of our Theatre Department on a full-time, permanent basis.

Our facility has undergone significant enhancements, featuring state-of-the-art surgical suites that enable us to perform intricate procedures across various medical disciplines. Key Responsibilities

Supervise a proficient team to ensure comprehensive care for patients undergoing surgical interventions. Assist the theatre manager by providing consistent updates and insights regarding your team and specialty. Offer specialized guidance and knowledge to both the team and medical consultants. Collaborate with consultants to coordinate and address specific needs for surgical schedules. Consult with relevant departments to ensure that specialized equipment is maintained in optimal condition. Partner with the Robotic Clinical Lead to formulate training plans and ensure staff competency in robotic surgery.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Registered Nurse (RN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) qualification. Ability to analyze and resolve staffing and operational challenges within the theatre. Experience working as a perioperative practitioner within multidisciplinary teams. Proven clinical reasoning skills applied to diverse and complex patient cases. Capacity to engage with consultants to promote evidence-based practices. Supervisory experience is advantageous.
