Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Gas Technical Assurance Auditor to join our team. As a Gas Technical Assurance Auditor, you will be responsible for auditing heating engineers on-site to ensure compliance with industry standards. This is a full-time, permanent position, working 40 hours per week, with a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum, plus company van and petrol card, and excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical and health and safety audits of field operatives across Southern England, using auditing systems and processes.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to action owners.
  • Assist the Lead Technical Auditor in the delivery of health and safety initiatives, developing processes, procedures, forms, and documents.
  • Carry out skills assessments and specific audits for all new engineers.
  • Assist operational managers with training and testing of operatives for safety compliance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in the gas industry, with previous auditing experience an advantage.
  • ACS qualifications essential, with commercial gas, oil, and solid fuel an advantage.
  • Current Gas CCN1, Cenwat, Htrs, Ckrs essential, with willingness to work towards current oil (101, 105e, 600a), commercial gas (CoDNCo1, CDGA1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1a & TPCP1) and willingness to work towards IOSH Managing Safety, Fire Warden & 1st Aid Trained.
  • Microsoft Office applications experience and full UK driving license essential.
