Job Description:

Reed is seeking a highly skilled Ledger Manager to oversee the accounts payable and receivable ledgers for a temporary assignment with our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions, maintaining up-to-date ledger entries, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Daily Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements related to accounts receivable and payable, and implement internal control procedures and policies.
  • Leadership and Direction: Provide leadership and direction to the ledger team, setting objectives and monitoring performance.
  • Financial Data Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial data and efficiency of internal processes.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Ledger Manager or in a similar supervisory role within finance.
  • Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of ledger management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Qualifications: Relevant finance qualification or equivalent experience.
