Job Description

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Private Client Tax Director to join a top 10 firm of chartered accountants based in Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior tax professional to take on a leadership role in a reputable and well-established accountancy practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personal tax and advisory services to a diverse client base, including directors of owner-managed businesses, property clients, wealthy individuals, and private clients.
  • Lead and influence a team of tax professionals, driving the development of the private client tax services in a leading Top 10 firm.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, bringing in new business to bolster the firm's private client offering.
  • Oversee the provision of advisory services across a wide spectrum of personal tax issues, including IHT, CGT, trusts, and estates.
Requirements
  • ACA, ACCA, or STEP qualification, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience operating at a senior level within Private Client Tax.
  • Excellent client handling skills, with the ability to provide a high level of client relationship.
  • Proven tax experience in producing high-quality work on complex UK private client matters within budget.
  • Tax experience from a practice background, preferably within a top 100 or large independent firm.
